K-State IAID

Recently students from Inje University in South Korea visited our K-State Interior Design program! They participated in a design workshop with 4th year students, toured Seaton Hall, and more!

Trellis is a love seat that aims to create connections between people, things, and nature. The form is inspired by the Gardens at Kansas State. The 15 degree angle creates a more centralized focus for users to interact with each other in a more comfortable way. Creating an experience that can be shared with someone develops a stronger attachment to the object, allowing the piece to be loved and cherished over time.
