My thirst for learning is one of the key reasons I have confidence in continued success. My primary source of learning is reading and I am obsessive about finding ways to encourage this positive habit within my team.
I’m always looking for great recommendations and this list from Tim Ferris looks great, this pin is as much for me as the page!
So far I gave only read ‘Principles’ and it is incredible.

Asking for Help Deepens Relationships (The Benjamin Franklin Effect)

Have you heard of this concept?

Twice this week I've heard reference having never knowingly have come across it previously but through the course of my life I have absolutely found to be effective.

The theory goes:
You ask people for small favours or ask for their help, this ask then serves to develop the relationship even if the prior relationship was somewhat negative.

A typical scenario in which I found this to be very effective was in my previous life in sales, my method was to first contact people and ask them for assistance rather than try to sell them anything - the name of a contact in another department or for a particular piece of information, I would be super grateful for any information they gave (which was very often useful). I then waited a week or so prior to contacting again, this time introducing the opportunity I was looking to close. I had no idea that this was a proven, researched formula I just found it to work.

The objective of this page is for me to share insight on what has helped me grow myself and my business over the last 8 years.
One critical piece of information I need to share is the vast majority of the growth has been achieved over the last 12-18 months. The reason for this is COMPOUND, if I had understood the theory of compound sooner my growth would no doubt have occurred faster and I would be further ahead now. So I can’t stress enough how much you need to know about it!

The first working day of 2021! I have such high expectations of this year but with virus numbers exploding and uncertainty everywhere it is going to be difficult not to be derailed, especially on day one. The key thing is to be 100% present and intentional. Make plans and stick to them.
Anyone else feel like this? (I couldn’t find a female image!)
