đź«€At Heart Rhythm Society 2026, we presented work that goes straight to the core of how electrophysiology decisions are made.

“Limitations of Short-Term Monitoring for Detecting Clinically Relevant PVC Burden”

This study challenges a long-standing assumption: that short-term monitoring is sufficient to guide clinical action.

Across over 246,522 reports, the signal was clear:
– A 24-hour study detects true burden in only 1 in 5 patients
– Even in higher-risk groups, clinically relevant thresholds are frequently missed
– Actionable burden may appear only once every ~57 days

The implication is direct: what we don’t capture, we don’t treat.

We’re proud to bring this level of evidence to the HRS stage—contributing to a broader shift toward continuous, data-driven decision-making in electrophysiology.

A strong moment for the team, and an important conversation for the field.
