I started Lay & V while I was pregnant with my third daughter. We didn’t have a name picked out for her yet and I was about to launch the first line of bodysuits, The Basic. I went back and forth on names for the company until I finally decided on Lay & V named after my first two daughters - Layla and Vita after all they were the driving force behind all this. 💕

With the Basic bodysuit in production, I began working on another similar, yet different bodysuit style. I loved the cut, the design, the color, fabrics and every single thing about it, it was perfect right down to the matte black button and rivets. I named it the Cora after my third sweet baby girl 😊

It didn’t stop there, my long time childhood friend, biggest fan and biggest supporter who had been wearing the Basic gave me some feedback. I took her feedback and began sketching and ultimately ran sample runs for this NEW style! The Kate has the same foundation as the Basic and the Cora but it has my amazing friend Kate’s input and spin added into the overall style 🖤

Everything about Lay & V has meaning attached to it, from the company name, to the name of the bodysuits, the concept, even how it was all created - right down to the initial thought. It all stemmed from the things that are closet to my heart, what I value and cherish.

Each bodysuit was developed and designed from a place of love with the hope to make women feel amazing in their own skin and confident in their clothes. 💃🏼
