“Seventeen”

This is a special one 🦋

I have been working on this piece for about five weeks. It was actually started the evening before I resigned from my corporate job.

Each butterfly marks a moment of release, old expectations, old rhythms, the noise of a life that no longer fit. In their place, something softer has taken hold. The muted tones mirror slow mornings - light filtering in, no rush, no urgency… just the gentle unfolding of a life built around what I love. The texture holds the past, layered and imperfect, while the butterflies rise from it, not in chaos, but in calm, intentional movement.

I designed it with 17 Butterflies intentionally… the number 1 symbolizes new beginnings, and the number 7 symbolizes spiritual growth and inner peace. Together, 17 marks the quiet alignment of a new beginning and inner peace - this piece holds that moment where everything finally feels like it’s unfolding as it should.

This is my metamorphosis—not loud or dramatic, but peaceful and certain. A becoming that feels like exhale.
