This world lost one of the most beautiful woman I’ve ever known this week. Chris Casale was very dear to me. I had the great pleasure and honor to know Chris for so so many years. I met her when she brought her two daughters, Jamie and Angela to dance with me and we continued to stay connected mostly through Jamie over the years. i’ve known Chris so long that she used to hold my boys when they were babies at many a rehearsal and performances! Chris was one of the most joyful, loving, kind women I’ve ever known. She was a tremendous mother, wife, friend, and a huge inspiration to anyone who ever met her. She was a bad ass warrior Queen with a huge heart and spirit. She was very special and very special to Ballet Apetrei and so many of you alumni and parents of alumni shared the great pleasure of knowing her along with me. My heart and thoughts are with Chris’s family today. Her husband, Bob and daughters, Jamie and Angela… I am incredibly sorry for the loss of your rock. Chris was a grandmother to many beautiful babies that she was such a huge part of their life. She will be greatly missed by many. Much love Chris. You were an angel on earth and now you can fly high with the other angels and look over and guide us from above ❤️ I will always have a special toast to Chris on my birthday because it was also her birthday that we shared. The pictures on this post were taken the last time I saw Chris when Jamie was in town last summer, we went to lunch together and I’ll always be grateful for it! 04/27/2026
