Today we’re celebrating our final senior, Ryan! 💙⚓️

Ryan has been part of Team 2992 for four years and has helped capture so many of the moments and memories we’ve shared with all of you. As part of our media team, he’s usually the one behind the camera, which explains why there aren’t many pictures of him… sorry, Ryan! 🫣📸

Outside of media, Ryan has also helped in other areas of build and scouting, although he’s definitely excited to finally be free from the “scouting shackles.” 😂 No matter where he was helping, Ryan always brought his quirky humor and fun personality to the team, making long meetings, competitions, and shop nights way more entertaining.

Ryan, we truly appreciate everything you’ve done for 2992. The photos and memories you captured over the years will stay with us for a long time. Media is such an important part of the team because it helps tell our story and preserve the moments we never want to forget.

This fall, Ryan will be attending University of Louisiana at Lafayette to study Industrial Design, and we know he’s going to do amazing things. Thank you for four awesome years, Ryan, and good luck on your next adventure! 🚀

📣SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: Today we’re celebrating, Maya, our Build Captain! She has served on our team for four years and has been on several sub teams, including pit crew and CAD. She works hard in helping with the design, assembly, and maintenance of our favorite robots. Maya is also a part of the drive team, two years running as our technician, always on standby to fix up our robot while on field. In her words, “I help with design, fabrication, assembly and emotional support of the robot”. 💙⚓️

Her positive and upbeat attitude kept us engaged and laughing during the build meetings she hosted. Maya was also a part of a news segment where she advertised our off-season competition and spread STEM and robotics awareness to our community.

Thank you Maya for all you have done to grow and represent the team. Team 2992 couldn’t have picked a better member to keep us on track while staying lively. Your friendliness and dedication will be remembered even after you graduate and we are excited to see the amazing things you will accomplish and the impact you will have. 🚀
