🏥 Rural Hospital Clinical Equipment Funding Opportunity
This grant supports rural hospitals in purchasing critical clinical equipment, including advanced imaging technology, emergency stabilization equipment, surgical and obstetric equipment, oncology technology, and other tools that help keep healthcare services close to home.
🚐 Mobile Mammography Unit Acquisition Funding Opportunity
This funding opportunity supports the acquisition of a mobile mammography unit to expand breast cancer screening services and improve access to lifesaving screenings in rural and underserved communities.

🚨 $40 Million Available to Strengthen Rural Healthcare in North Dakota 🚨
Imagine being able to receive an MRI, emergency treatment, or specialized care right in your own community instead of driving hours for an appointment.
That's exactly what the Rural Hospital Clinical Equipment Grant through the Rural Health Transformation Plan (RHTP) is designed to do.
With approximately $40 million in statewide funding, eligible rural hospitals can invest in new clinical equipment that expands local services, improves patient outcomes, and helps keep healthcare close to home.
Funding may support:
✔️ MRI, CT, and ultrasound equipment
✔️ Emergency and trauma stabilization technology
✔️ Surgical and minimally invasive procedure equipment
✔️ Labor and delivery and neonatal care equipment
✔️ Cardiology and respiratory care systems
✔️ Infection prevention and patient safety equipment
✔️ Rehabilitation and post-acute care services
✔️ Installation costs and certain minor renovations tied directly to patient care improvements
