From fence line to finish line, Randy Stevenson sent his 1965 Chevy C10 out to Memory Lane for a full rebuild. It got a few updates, including power steering, power disk brakes, and a new AM/FM radio, but kept it original styling and good looks.

Being a Ford guy who happens to love Bumpside trucks (67-72) this one is probably my favorite. Brandon Leingang decided to have us rebuild his family’s old ranch pickup. The best part is he kept it a secret from his dad until the Rusty’s saloon car show in August. Many friends and family members were also in on the secret, and helped with the progress of the old truck. We stripped the old Highboy down to the bare frame and added a 4 inch skyjacker soft ride lift and a Steerman Cycle electric power steering system. The engine is a stroked 390, now 445 cubic inches, built by Dan Geiger.
It got finished in the original Norway green and Wimbledon white paint scheme. We were even able to find a new set of chrome steer horns to replace the old JC Whitney one his dad had on the truck. I made every effort to use original Ford parts or US made replacements wherever possible on this truck, even digging into my own personal collection when needed. The presentation of the truck at his dad’s 70th birthday party during the car show had to be one of the best unveiling’s I’ve ever been a part of. He was definitely surprised!
