She’s installed and given to the Town for their care and keeping! Congratulations to the committee, the donors and to sculptor Susan Wakeen for this beautiful legacy art! Emily Cheney Neville!
This is the last of the three legacy statues that the committee planned 10 years ago. We are proud and delighted at what’s been accomplished, and these amazing pieces of artwork that can be enjoyed for generations.
Joe McCluskey is located across from Highland Park Market, Elisabeth Bennet stands in front of her school on Main Street, and now Emily Cheney Neville is located in Center Memorial Park. Information about Emily can be found in printed booklets which will be donated to the library and the Historical Society for your reading pleasure. Since she is an award-winning author, “It’s Like That, Cat”, you can also find information on the Internet or through the Manchester Historical Society.

We would be remiss if we did not thank each of the artists who worked so long to create such beautiful Christmas wreaths and decorations, which helped us to raise more than $6000 at our recent Holiday Spirit event. Many many thanks go to…
