TL Phillips Consulting Services completed a successful engagement with the town of Glastonbury CT to develop a comprehensive action plan as part of AARP's national Age-Friendly Community (AFC) initiative. With more than 45M Americans presently 65 or older, and that number expected to increase to 73M by 2030, over 500 towns, cities, counties and states have begun or completed action plans that will make their communities more livable for people of all ages. AARP has certified Glastonbury's action plan and gave it high marks. The town is now beginning the three-year implementation process.
