What you wear is more than just fabric — it's a mood signal. 🧠✨
This past week I dressed *intentionally* — choosing outfits based on how I wanted to feel, not just what was closest in my closet. And the difference? Real.
There's actually science behind this. Psychologists call it **Enclothed Cognition** — the idea that the clothes we wear influence our psychological state and how we show up in the world (Adam & Galinsky, 2012). When you dress with intention, you're literally sending your brain a message about who you are and how you want to feel.
Combine that with **Behavioral Activation** — a core CBT technique — which teaches us that small, intentional actions (like choosing an outfit that lifts you) can shift your mood before your mind even catches up.
Dressing how you *want* to feel, not just how you currently feel, is a form of self-care that starts before you even walk out the door.
So next time you're tempted to throw on whatever — pause. Ask yourself: what do I want to feel today? Then dress for that.
💬 Drop a 🌟 if you've ever noticed your outfit affecting your mood!

Struggling with pain, inflammation, stress, or low energy?
The HealthyLine TAO Mat at Transforming Hearts uses the healing power of natural gemstones — amethyst, jade, tourmaline, and obsidian — combined with Far Infrared Heat, PEMF Therapy, and Negative Ion Therapy to restore your body from the inside out. Deep warmth penetrates joints and muscles, circulation improves, tension dissolves. Add it to your Reiki session or book it as a standalone add-on.
Your body will thank you.

Yesterday I had the honor of being the Keynote Speaker at Eastern University for the Women's Center at Take Back the Night. An event dedicated to victims of sexual assault and interpersonal violence.
We discussed the importance of community, speaking up, standing for one another and healing.
Love the work The Women’s Center is doing to create awareness and hold space for students at Eastern.
Thank you for having me.
