Sunday night into Monday - a powerful Nor’easter is expected to develop. The only question now is how fast this system phases & how close to the coast the system tracks.
If this storm threads the needle and develops a bit slower and further offshore than currently being projected, can easily see a widespread 1-2 feet of snow (possibly more) for major I-95 cities from DC to Boston. Stay tuned for more as new data comes in today …

Sunday Morning Update: Flurries today then a much more substantial (and messy!) storm moves in Monday afternoon through Tuesday. Snow develops after Noon Monday which will be only the first wave of snow. This should be generally light, but the Monday evening commute might be slightly slower. The real deal arrives overnight and into early Tuesday with heavy snow from Concord and north/west, while areas to the south change from snow to sleet/wintry mix. Sloppy travel expected Tuesday morning. It tapers off Tuesday afternoon.
Highlights
Timing: Starts Monday afternoon- Tuesday midday, Ends Tuesday afternoon
Heaviest: After midnight Tuesday morning until 10 AM
Snow Consistency: Wetter, heavier

Snow Update: Snow moves in this afternoon. It will make the roads slick fast due to how cold the ground is right now. Plan ahead! No big changes to this map... heaviest snow will be in the Monadnock Region. By Tuesday morning we could be looking well over a foot there! Are you ready? :)
