🎉 Welcome, Thomas Stevens — Our New Camp Carpenter Director! 🎉

We are thrilled to announce Thomas Stevens as our new Camp Carpenter Director!

Thomas brings a lifetime of Scouting spirit, hands-on leadership, and a deep commitment to creating meaningful outdoor experiences for young people. Born and raised in Newport, VT, he began his Scouting journey as a Cub Scout and earned his Eagle Scout Rank in 2007. That same year, he joined the Army National Guard as a Cavalry Scout, where the skills and character he developed in Scouting helped shape a successful military career that continues today.

Thomas comes to Camp Carpenter with a wealth of operational and leadership experience—including five years as Camp Ranger for the Girl Scouts of Central and Western Massachusetts at Camp Green Eyrie. In 2023, he deployed to Kuwait with the National Guard, continuing to serve in a leadership role.

Beyond his professional experience, Thomas is a devoted husband and father of three—Aurora, Andrew, and Liam—and an active volunteer in his church, his daughters’ Girl Scout troop, and his sons’ sports teams. His passion for service, family, and the outdoors shines through everything he does.

As Camp Carpenter Director, Thomas is excited to bring his talents, experience, and enthusiasm to our iconic camp. He looks forward to working with our volunteers, staff, and families to ensure everyone who visits Camp Carpenter enjoys an unforgettable adventure filled with discovery and fun.

Please join us in welcoming Thomas to the Scouting America New Hampshire team — we are excited for the leadership and energy he will bring to Camp Carpenter! 🏕️
