For sure, we shall support and hopefully get to hear the whole coverage from the international or Global news as well. Our biggest interest is definitely on health, road infrastructure and road safety in Zambia. Road traffic tragedies being the third killer in Zambia after HIV/AIDs and Malaria are a very big concern to every citizen of Zambia as well as the world health organisation global issue. We would be delighted to hear what the president' s way forward is and views on stopping this carnage in Zambia.
Drivers should be warned to seriously begin to observe and obey Road Safety Regulations. Until drivers understand the great need of safety registrations, honouring life, and gaining Road Safety knowledge and awareness, this will remain the talk of our daily living.
The most serious and main cause of road traffic death in Zambia and globally, has been found through research to be driver error. Yes, bad roads, weather, under serviced vehicles and poor lighting are contributing factors. However, if drivers underwent a series of intense educational programme before being allowed on the road and carry people or passengers. This could prevent a lot of unnecessary tragedies faced today by the country, Zambia. Hence,
MUKABO Road Safety. Our goal is to Make every Zambian drivers and other road users knowledgeable and to become observant and safe road users.
Therefore, our presence at this great gathering tonight will help us to understand and answer some of our questions to the president concerning this issue.
