George Butch Joseph Foundation

On behalf of the George Butch Joseph Foundation, we invite you to join us at the Derryfield Country Club in Manchester, N.H. on Friday, November 7, 2025 from 6-9 pm for the 8th annual “YOURS IN SPORTS” social event. Butch lived his life helping young adults and was successful because of the important role he played in those lives. He gave of himself freely, whether in coaching, or quietly purchasing and financial resources for athletic programs that provide scholar-athletes with opportunities to build equipment for youth who would otherwise not be able to participate. To honor him, and keep his legacy alive, his family and friends started the George Butch Joseph Foundation.
Our mission is to provide individual scholarships character and success through a strong work ethic. We exist to promote participation, commitment and determination in sports and academics, so that scholar-athletes reach their fullest potential in life.
Now in our 8th year, we are pleased to announce that we’ve been able to award $23,000 in scholarships to well-deserving students and give over $14,000 in grants to local schools. Along with that, the foundation recently purchased football helmets for the West High Blue Knight’s and purchased warm-ups for the West/Central High girls basketball team. To top it off, we were able to purchase a multi-ring basketball hoop as well as a dozen basketballs for the Central High School Unified Basketball Team, which is a part of Special Olympics.
