Friday Lighting at Readville.

This was hands down the best-lit train within my few hours spent at Readville over the past couple of days. With smoke drifting Southeast from Canadian Wildfires, haze filled the sky once again, giving the sun an orange tint to its light.

After a quick downtime, the silence of Hyde Park quickly melted into the roar of a commuter rail. MBTA 855 with F40 1074 clattered by on the middle track destined for Stoughton.

Sister-turnaround.

Here are 2 photos of the same crew, same locomotive, but different trains and weather! My favorite CN train(s) comprise of L531 and its counterpart CN 530 which cross the border from Canada into the United States. The weather took a crazy turn when CN 530 came out of Tift Yard with 60+ MPH gusts of wind and heavy rain.
