Today is World Environment Day, dedicated to celebrating Climate Action to reduce the effects of climate change. Every time you compost your food waste instead of throwing it in the trash, you are helping reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The Manchester Food Scrap Drop-off Program is a great way to get started with separating your food from your trash. All residents are eligible to join!

Did you pull your AC out of storage just to find that it's broken? Remember - don’t throw your AC in the curbside trash or recycling carts. Call to schedule curbside bulky pick up or bring to the Transfer Station for free. ACs in the trash costs the town 150% more than if disposed of properly.

Have any more questions about recycling and how to use the Transfer Station? Come see us at Public Works Day on Saturday from 8am-12pm!
