So proud!
Finally was able to schedule a time to get this Virginia Green Travel Star Award to Fillagreen for their "Eco-Elves Upcycling Drive" for this past year's Greater Manassas Christmas Parade, where collected all of the waste materials generated at the end of the event during disassembly of the parade floats. More than 300 lbs of wire, fabric, foam, and decorations that were salvaged and found new homes as materials for whomever wanted them.
Accepting the award is Fillagreen's John Hicks with Virginia Green Travel's Tom Griffin in front of the Downtown Fredericksburg store. Their main store is in Historic Manassas, Inc..
