The title of the Worlds Largest BB Gun Match goes to the South Dakota 4-H BB Gun Championship, competed this past weekend with 717 athletes! The winning team was Brookings County, and the top athlete was Bailey Gjernes, also from Brookings County.

Not to be outdone, the title of the World’s Largest Single Day BB Gun Match goes to the Georgia 4-H BB Gun Championships, also competed this past weekend with 435 athletes. The winning team of this match was Cook County, and the top athlete Madisyn Everett from Walton County.

Teams are now in their last week of competition in the 2026 National New Shooter and Air Pistol Leagues.

In the Air Pistol League, NoVA Sharpshooters are poised to land yet another consecutive average score record. In the New Shooter League, North Brunswick AJROTC hopes to hold out in the 1st place spot while they have a bye in the final week.

The 2025 National Air Rifle League concluded last week, with Fontana MCJROTC winning the Sporter Championship and Lafayette Gun Club winning the Precision Championship and Sporter Invitational Championship.
