As the Supremes consider the immunity question for Presidents, it looks like they will decide to send the case back to the lower courts to determine which of Trumps actions relating to the 1/6 insurrection was a “private act”, and which was a public, Presidential act.

This could turn the immunity hearing into a disclosure of all the facts known by Prosecutor Smith committed by Trump in furtherance of the conspiracy. If this happens, the world will know what Trump did ahead of the election, which really is what we as voters want to know.

Who cares if Trump is tried later on? What we don’t want is for him to become President again, in order to save our democracy…
