Meet Leticia, one of our alumni. She came to the U.S. carrying everything you carry when you leave home - the hope, the uncertainty, the distance from the people you love most.

At High Expectations, she learned English. But she’ll tell you that’s not the part she remembers most.

We’re here to teach you English. But we’re also here for the days when English isn’t what you need.

Conheça a Leticia, uma das nossas ex-alunas. Ela chegou aos Estados Unidos carregando tudo o que a gente carrega quando deixa sua casa — a esperança, a incerteza, a distância de quem a gente mais ama.

Na High Expectations, ela aprendeu inglês. Mas ela vai te dizer que não é dessa parte que ela mais se lembra.

Quando o momento mais difícil da vida dela chegou — aquele tipo de perda que faz o mundo ficar em silêncio — ela não estava sozinha. Seus professores estavam ali. Seus colegas estavam ali. A comunidade que ela nem sabia que estava construindo estava ali.

É isso que queremos dizer quando falamos que a High Expectations é um lar longe de casa. Estamos aqui pra te ensinar inglês. Mas também estamos aqui pros dias em que inglês não é o que você precisa.
