Kanas Royal Rangers, we want to inform you if you haven’t heard already that Pastor Terry Newell went home to be with the Lord this morning. He will be missed by so very many people. A Memorial Celebration of his life will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Crossroads Cowboy Church, Williamstown, KS. Cremation Care is planned. Memorials to Crossroads Rodeo Bible Camp Scholarship Fund and sent in care of Barnett funeral home.

Terry was born September 26, 1959 at Lawrence, KS, the son of Victor Lee and Betty Louise Allen Newell. He grew up in Oskaloosa, KS and was a 1977 graduate of Oskaloosa High School. A proud American, Terry served 10 years as an aircraft mechanic and crew chief in the U.S. Air Force. Terry started serving the Lord in 1994, attending Bible College and studying biblical studies. He had a multitude of ministries including Royal Rangers, and touched many lives through his ministries, always giving his all for the Lord. His greatest joy was the ministry of Crossroads Cowboy Church, where he was a co-founder, leader, and lead Pastor of the Church. Terry loved the rodeo Bible camps sponsored by the church for many summers. He was a member and former associate pastor of Williamstown Assembly of God Church as well as Crossroads Cowboy Church. Terry was also a good handyman. You name it, he could do it. Loving to travel this great country, Terry and wife, Shella, retired in 2020 and enjoyed two years of traveling and spending time together until his long battle with cancer. He loved spending time with his family. Terry was 63, when he passed into the arms of our Lord Saturday, September 2, 2023 at The Indiana University Hospice House in Bloomington, IN.

Please keep his family lifted up in prayer during this time.
