Today is “Chris Kyle Day” in Texas. It is marked in honor of Texas native and former Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, who was tragically killed on this day in 2013. We honor his faithful service and sacrifice in defense of our way of life.

In 2018, Governor Greg Abbott signed a proclamation that declared February 2nd as “Texas Military Heroes Day,” a day to also honor those servicemen and women whose names are unrecognized but have quietly and dutifully served this great state.
