We are Fire Fighters Local 311, a family of more than 500 dedicated firefighters and paramedics serving communities across Dane County, including Cambridge, Cottage Grove, Deerfield, DeForest, Fitchburg, Hampden, Madison, McFarland, Middleton, Monona, Mount Horeb, Oregon, Pleasant Springs, Sun Prairie, Verona, Vienna, Waunakee, and Windsor.

Since 1931, beginning in Madison, our members have served as neighborhood firefighters, paramedics, and dedicated public servants.

Our mission is to help protect the communities we serve while advocating for the staffing, resources, training, and support needed to save lives and protect property.
