As I sit here at 4:45 in the morning writing this I am reflecting on how life is what you make of it. I have worked jobs that I absolutely hate, I have worked jobs that I love. I have had zero money in the bank, and I have had thousands in the bank. I have been happy with zero in the bank and a job I hate. I have been happy with thousands in the bank and a job I love. I have been unhappy with zero in the bank and a job I hate. I have been unhappy with thousands in the bank and a job I love. The truth to happiness is finding the Love of Jesus, it doesn’t matter where you work or how much money you have. Jesus loves you when you’re poor, Jesus loves you when you’re wealthy, Jesus loves you when you’re happy and Jesus love your when you’re unhappy. BUT, when you find that Jesus loves you, you will find happiness in no matter what life throws at you. Because, when you find that Jesus loves you, you find how to love yourself. So, life is what you make of it, however, when you find Jesus in your heart, He is all you need. He will turn sorrow into happiness, He will show you good in everything you do.

Some days I wake up and I don’t feel like I have a purpose on this earth, and I just want to go back to bed. The days I feel like this I realize there is one thing I am missing, and that is spending time talking to the Lord. The Bible tells us in Romans 12 to “not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.” We must spend time everyday seeking the Lord, this is how we renew our minds. We live in a “right now” world where everything is at our fingertips, and everything has sped up so fast that we don’t make time for ourselves or time with the Lord. I am challenging myself, and maybe you will too, to spend time every day seeking the Lord and renewing my mind. Seek the Lord and find true Joy and Happiness.
