E-bike and e-scooter accidents are rising, with more than 20,000 injuries reported every year. Most accidents are preventable when you:
✅ Wear a helmet
✅ Stay visible with lights or reflective gear
✅ Follow the rules of the road
✅ Ride at a safe, controlled speed

What a great way to kick off a safe start to summer! ☀️
We were honored to participate in the Lincoln Elementary School and Midvale Elementary School end of year picnic last night. During the event, our Community Health team helped fit and distribute nearly 200 bike and multi-sport helmets for families! 🚲 🛴 🛹
Injury prevention rose to the top of the most recent Dane County Community Health Needs Assessment - and wearing a helmet while riding a bike, scooter, skateboard, etc. can reduce your risk of injury by 80 to 90%!
