SB344 has been signed into law by Governor Evers. Wisconsin Registered Interior Designers can now sign and seal our own code-compliant, non-structural documents for submittal and approval for construction. A win for our profession and for Wisconsin consumers. We are grateful for the support of Senators Dale Kooyenga and LaTonya Johnson, Representatives Cody Horlacher and Shelia Stubbs, and to Senator Kapenga. This was made possible through the years of dedication by Interior Designers throughout Wisconsin, individual supporters and advocates, businesses, code officials, WI interior design educators and students and so many others.
