Wildflour Macarons

Had a request to make these army green shells for a customer whose wife was leaving for deployment soon. Had the honor of being a part of this surprise for her wife, since she apparently loves my macarons 💚. I see them often at the Madison City Farmers Market, so I especially was happy to help with the surprise! 🥰. Good luck to her during deployment, and I hope the months move quickly for the both of them to be together again 💛.

P.S. It’s difficult to achieve dark colors like this without affecting the integrity of the shells, but powdered dye is magic. 🪄

Schedule for July!

I have a race this coming weekend, so it’ll be another week til I’m back. The weekend after that is tentative since I’m trying to balance savoring summer time with my kiddos 💛.

Reminder that you can always order from me outside of the market (just need a week’s notice for standard, two weeks for custom).

Thank you so much for coming by my page and supporting my home business, Wildflour Macarons! I’m Alex, a mom of two wonderful kids, spouse to my middle school sweetheart, runner and cyclist, baker of macarons (and more), and now business owner since 2024.

I’ve been baking from scratch since my grandmother (Meemaw) taught me when I was 8 years old how to bake her delicious chocolate cake! Decades later, knowing for quite a while I’ve wanted a business of my own, I took the risk. And YOU all helped make that happen!

I make these lil macarons, but you all are how this business has made it through the years of hard work, and who make it worth it! So thank you, thank you, thank you 💛.

Location: Lavender Wynde Farm (whose culinary lavender I always use for my lavender flavored macarons, and whose fields are gorgeous!)

Fourth of July is THIS Saturday- you’ll need a burger, some blueberry pie, and to celebrate our country’s 250th, obviously 💁‍♀️.

These will be available pre-packaged at the Madison City Farmers Market this Saturday, 6/4, 8am-12pm (until sold out)!

FLAVORS:
🇺🇸 250 - Vanilla (star-sprinkled) shell, vanilla buttercream
🍔Burger- Chocolate (sesame seed sprinkled) shell, chocolate buttercream with royal icing “toppings” (not fondant like last year)
🥧 Blueberry pie- (has gluten) Graham cracker shell decorated with royal icing, graham cracker buttercream surrounding homemade blueberry jam.
