Freedom. Faith. Family. Fight. 🇺🇸🥊
🇺🇸 Happy (Belated) Fourth of July from our Freedom Muay Thai Family! ❤️🤍💙
We’re a little late, but we hope everyone had a safe and joyful Independence Day surrounded by the people who matter most.
As our nation celebrates its 250th anniversary, we’re reminded that freedom has always come with sacrifice, courage, resilience, and hope.
At Freedom Muay Thai, “Freedom” isn’t just our name—it’s our purpose.
To us, freedom means:
🥊 The freedom to become stronger than yesterday.
🛡️ The freedom to overcome fear, anxiety, and self-doubt.
❤️ The freedom to find family in a community that stands beside you.
✝️ The freedom to live out our faith with love, humility, and purpose.
💙 The freedom to keep moving forward, even when life brings heartbreak.
This year has been one of celebration and sorrow. As we continue healing from the loss of Will, we’re reminded every day that community is one of God’s greatest gifts. We don’t have to carry life’s burdens alone, and we’re thankful for every person who has walked beside us.
This Fourth of July was especially meaningful. We were blessed to have both of our mothers with us, celebrating together across generations. We also celebrated our youngest son turning 3 years old, surrounded by our Freedom Muay Thai family—the people who have become so much more than teammates. They’re our family.
We ate brunch, swam, laughed, shared food, celebrated a birthday, watched fireworks light up the sky, and soaked in every moment together. Looking around at our families, our children playing, and friends, we couldn’t help but feel grateful for the little community God has allowed us to build.
That is what Freedom means to us.
It’s not just about martial arts.
It’s about belonging.
It’s about healing.
It’s about becoming stronger together.
If you’ve been searching for a place where you can grow—whether that’s through Muay Thai, kickboxing, MMA, wrestling, fitness, weight management, self-defense, or simply surrounding yourself with people who genuinely want to see you succeed—we’d love to welcome you.
You don’t have to be an athlete. You don’t have to be in perfect shape. You just have to be willing to take the first step.
Our doors are open, we are growing, and there’s always room for one more.
From our family to yours, thank you for being part of our journey.
God bless you all, and God bless America. 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙

It’s been heavy on our hearts and hard to share with public. On June 6, just hours after William was at our home training, we received a call with the news that would forever change our lives.
Nothing prepares you for moments like that.
The time we stepped away from social media over the past two weeks was a gift. It gave us space to grieve, to celebrate William’s life, and to reflect on the incredible light he brought into this world and into the lives of everyone who knew him.
On June 20, surrounded by the love of his life, mom&dad, family, friends, teammates=his brothers, and loved ones, William was laid to rest.
This may be one of the hardest posts we have had to share.
While we have always believed that grief is deeply personal, we are united with William’s family in making sure the world never forgets him. We are also committed to continuing conversations about mental health, su***de awareness, and the importance of supporting one another through life’s hardest battles.
Our hearts are broken as we mourn the loss of William—a young man who was so much more than a friend.
He was family.
He was like a son to us.
As the rain fell during the morning drive to his service, it felt as though heaven itself was grieving alongside us. Yet as the day continued, the clouds parted and the sun began to shine. It was a beautiful reminder of the hope we have through Christ—that even in our darkest moments, light still breaks through.
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18
William was a gifted athlete who embodied the heart, determination, discipline, and resilience of a future World Champion.
But his greatest victories were not fought in a ring.
They were fought within himself.
He was our light. Our warrior.
William understood battles that many people never see. He knew what it meant to fight through darkness, doubt, and struggles that could not be measured by wins and losses. Yet he continued to push forward, choosing growth, faith, purpose, and community.
Through God’s guidance, he found Coach Daniel, and that relationship became one of the greatest blessings in all our lives. Under that mentorship, William grew stronger physically, mentally, and spiritually. He deepened his faith, strengthened his relationships, and blossomed into the remarkable young man so many came to know and love. His bond with his team was the strength and love of a group of Spartans. Brothers that trained together, sweat together, bleed together, and succeed together.
And at the center of his world was Madelyn.
Their relationship was built on love, faith, and a shared commitment to keeping God at the center of their lives. Together they grew, encouraged one another, and built a foundation rooted in Christ.
We ask for continued prayers for Madelyn as she navigates this unimaginable chapter. Few things in life compare to the pain of losing the person you planned to spend forever with. We pray God surrounds her with peace, strength, comfort, and the unwavering support of those who love her.
We also lift up William’s parents and family. No parent should ever have to bury their child. We pray that God brings them comfort in the memories they shared, strength for the difficult days ahead, and peace that surpasses all understanding.
William found purpose with his coach, his teammates, and his tribe at Freedom Muay Thai.
His kindness, humility, work ethic, and unwavering spirit left an imprint on every life he touched.
To our youngest daughter, William was a gentle warrior.
To all of us, he will forever remain a warrior.
And now, even in his passing, his story continues to shine a light for others who may be struggling with loneliness, hopelessness, mental health challenges, or thoughts of su***de.
One of the greatest lessons William taught us was the importance of being present.
In a world increasingly consumed by screens, notifications, and virtual connections, it is easy to forget the value of simply being together. We have become a society that often knows more about what people post online than what they are carrying in their hearts.
William reminded us that life happens in the moments we share face-to-face.
Put the phone down.
Have the conversation.
Invite someone to dinner.
Sit on the porch.
Go for the drive.
Stay a little longer.
Laugh a little harder.
Tell people you love them while you have the chance.
Be fully present with the people God has placed in your life and cherish every moment you are given, because tomorrow is never promised.
Though we wish we had more time, we are grateful for every moment we were given. We will carry William’s spirit with us always—his courage, his faith, his laughter, his smile, and his warrior heart.
The rain may have fallen in the morning, but the sun shone brightly by afternoon.
And just like that sunshine, William’s light will never be extinguished.
“Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23
Rest easy, William “Wardog” Aldridge.
You are loved beyond words, missed beyond measure, and remembered forever.
❤️🥊🙏🏻☀️🌧️✨
🔥 FREEDOM MUAY THAI IS HEADING TO WAR 🔥
Our heavyweight warrior Kellen Battles steps into the cage at Hub City Fight Night 12 ready to represent Freedom Muay Thai with heart, discipline, and pressure.
📍 Jackson Fairgrounds — Jackson, Tennessee
📅 Saturday, June 27
🥊 Hub City Fight Night 12
This isn’t just another fight.
This is preparation meeting opportunity.
This is sacrifice meeting purpose.
This is a warrior stepping forward after countless hours of training, pain, and perseverance.
At Freedom Muay Thai, we stand together as family, and we’re proud to watch Kellen go represent everything we believe in — faith, grit, loyalty, and relentless hard work.
“Fight the good fight of the faith.” —
✝️ 1 Timothy 6:12
Let’s pack the crowd and show support for our guy!
💥 LET’S GO KELLEN 💥
A strong man does more than lead in the ring — he leads his family to God.
At Freedom Muay Thai, we believe true leadership is built on faith, discipline, sacrifice, and purpose. A coach is more than someone who teaches punches and kicks; he is called to guide, protect, encourage, and lead others toward becoming stronger in body, mind, and spirit.
As women, when we are grounded in God and supported by a man who leads with Christ at the center, everything begins to change. We stop seeking validation from the world and start seeking purpose through Him. That is where true freedom is found.
A marriage rooted in God becomes unshakable. A family built on faith becomes a legacy. And a gym centered on Christ becomes more than a place to train — it becomes a brotherhood, a family, and a mission.
“He leads as coach. She supports with faith. Together they build with God at the center.”
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.” — Colossians 3:23
What a night for Freedom Muay Thai. ❤️🥊
First and foremost, THANK YOU to every single person who came out to support Isaiah and Fabion at CFC Mayhem. To those who filled the arena, cheered from the crowd, sent messages, watched from home, prayed for our fighters, and stood behind our team — we truly appreciate each and every one of you.
We hate that we didn’t get the chance to personally see or speak to everyone who came out, but please know your love and support did not go unnoticed. Having a tribe that stands together, uplifts one another, and shows up the way you all do is such an honor and blessing.
“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:11 ✝️
We are beyond proud of both of these young men.
Isaiah went out there and displayed heart, skill, composure, and determination. Every fight is another step forward, another lesson learned, and another opportunity to sharpen his technique and continue growing into the fighter God is shaping him to be. The growth is undeniable and we are proud of the warrior he continues to become.
Fabion stepped into his PRO DEBUT walking out to the iconic Michael Myers theme song… and just like the character himself, he came to stalk the cage, slay the competition, and leave with the win. 🔥 Calm, calculated, relentless, and dangerous from the opening second, Fabian wasted no time making a statement and closed the show in dominant fashion in under 2 minutes. The pro stage officially knows his name now.
“The wicked flee though no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion.” — Proverbs 28:1 🦁
Fight nights are about more than wins and losses. They are about courage, discipline, sacrifice, family, and faith. Watching these young men step into that cage after all the hard work they’ve put in makes us incredibly proud as coaches, teammates, and family.
Thank you again to everyone who continues to support Freedom Muay Thai. One team. One family. All heart. No limits. ❤️🔥

As I look at these pictures, I see so much more than a team.
I see God’s hand over our life—how He saved me, strengthened me, and built something far beyond what I could have imagined. I see growth, not just in skill or discipline, but in faith, in marriage, and in purpose.
Freedom Muay Thai is our tribe. Our extended family. Our gift from God.
My husband, Daniel Wehner, and I have always shared a deep passion for martial arts—Muay Thai, MMA, and everything that comes with that world of discipline, grit, and connection. When he moved away from his gym in California, he didn’t just leave a place to train—he left behind a family. His teammates, the students he coached, and the relationships that had been built over years of sweat, sacrifice, and shared growth.
So when the opportunity came to start something new, I told him to go for it. Fully. Without hesitation. And I would stand beside him, supporting every step.
That yes became Freedom Muay Thai.
And what has grown from that “yes” is something we never could have orchestrated on our own. Every person who has stepped onto those mats with him hasn’t just joined a gym—they’ve become part of our story. Part of our lives. Part of our family.
They’ve become our tribe.
And in so many ways, they’ve become a reminder of God’s goodness—how He takes obedience, passion, and trust, and turns it into something bigger than we ever planned.
