Who said mentoring has to be boring? This pastweekend was one for the books! We screamed, laughed, got tossed around on roller coasters, and made memories these young men will never forget. Sometimes the best mentoring happens when you’re standing in line for a ride, laughing until your stomach hurts, or checking on the one young man who swore he wasn’t scared… then screamed the loudest. 😂 Trips like this aren’t just about having fun. They’re about building trust, creating lifelong memories, and showing these young men that life has so much to offer.

Thank you to everyone who supports the League of Legacy. Because of you, these young men get experiences they’ll carry with them for years to come.

Before we left for Six Flags, Mason sent a text and said, “Mr. Justin, can I pray over everybody before we leave?”

Nobody told him to do it. Nobody asked him to. He just wanted to make sure we covered the day in prayer before we hit the road.

So before we pulled out, Mason stood up in front of his brothers and prayed over every single person on that bus.

Then after an amazing day full of laughs, roller coasters, and memories we’ll never forget, he came to us again and asked if he could pray over everyone before we headed home.

That’s leadership. People think leadership is about being the loudest person in the room or having a title. We don’t. Leadership is serving others. It’s stepping up when nobody asks you to. It’s doing what’s in your heart because you know it’s the right thing to do. We’re incredibly proud of Mason. Watching our young men grow into leaders like this is exactly why the League of Legacy exists.

We had an incredible time at Six Flags, but moments like this are what I’ll remember the most.

Keep leading, young king. We’re proud of you. 🙏🏾
