Polka!Press is excited to participate in Gallery Night this year! We’ve got a fun block printing activity planned when you visit the studio - assemble and print your own exquisite co**se from blocks created by Polka members!

Happy May Day from your local print cooperative! Polka Press is settling into our Winnebago location and it has been a months-long labor of love.

We’re so happy to be printing again, check out some of our first prints in the new space from .mixed and ! As a print cooperative dedicated to supporting and uplifting our communities, we honor and celebrate workers, immigrants, lgbtqia+ folks, artists, educators and activists today and every day!

P.S. We’ve extended our GFM to cover additional moving and renovation costs. As a volunteer-run group, we’re so appreciative for all of your support. We look forward to sharing the new space with you soon!

Print & Resist Zine Fest is a day-long festival of political print media, zines, experimental publications, and prints related to the world of art, do-it-yourself culture, and political action. The event brings together subversively creative print/media artists including zine makers, printers, poster-makers, and other self-published artists and writers to share their work with the Madison area community.

See you Sunday at the Pal-entines event and art market from 10-4 at the Brassworks building at Goodman Community Center.

Along with a bunch of other local nonprofits and artists, Polka will be hosting a community valentine exchange! You can make valentines at this event and send them in the mail!

There will also be DJs spinning, a cash bar and treats and a mini-gallery. Event is a fundraiser for and hosted by
