School, Community and Elected Leaders gather with students to celebrate construction of the new Sherman Middle School and Malcolm Shabazz City High School this morning at the official groundbreaking ceremony. (The groundbreaking for Gompers Elementary and Black Hawk Middle School will also take place today - Monday, 3/30 - at 1:15 pm.)

2. We have raised over $25,000 for our "30 for 30" campaign and need less than $5,000 by the end of the year to reach our goal.
