Congratulations to adult education champion, Erin Vobornik, on being selected as the Executive Director of the brand new National Association for the Transformation of Adult Education (Naftae). NAFTAE is "a national advocacy organization dedicated to advancing public policy, elevating the voices of adult learners and educators, and transforming adult education across the United States," according to their recent news release. We look forward to partnering with Erin and NAFTAE to light the way to literacy!

As we observe Independence Day, we reflect on the promise of freedom, opportunity, and participation in civic life.

Literacy helps make that promise real. It gives adults and families the tools to read, work, vote, learn, advocate, and take part in their communities.

From all of us at Wisconsin Literacy, we wish you a safe and meaningful Independence Day.
