Goodman Center Needs Your Help.

The Goodman Community Center is expanding to provide additional program space to accommodate the growing youth and teen programs. You will all be invited to an open house event to check out the new digs at the end of September but in the meanwhile they are in need of volunteer bodies to help packed, moved, and relocated in the new building just across the street from the current campus.

Their greatest need is with the “heavy lifting” shifts on August 6th. They are looking for up to 40 volunteers over two shifts that day to help physically move boxes and small furniture (desks, cabinets, etc.). If you or anyone you know would be available to lend a helping hand between 08/03 – 08/07 they would appreciate you greatly! (and may even have some fun treats and activities for you)
