In March, Johanna arrived in the U.S. as a refugee from South Africa with few belongings — but an unshakable goal: find a job within 3 months.

With support from her Job Developer through our FSET program — including bus passes and gas assistance to get her to work — Johanna landed a position at FedEx - her first U.S. job! Now she's part-time and already eyeing a full-time administrative role.

Her "why"? Giving her sons a future full of possibility.
