🌟I met this seller at an open house in her neighborhood at least 8 years ago. We stayed connected over the years through various resource requests and event invites. In the fall, I received a call from her letting me know that she was going to be moving out of the area and needed to sell her house. As a thorough person, she did her due diligence and interviewed a couple of other agents, even though we knew each other well. After all her conversations, she decided that our styles would definitely be a good match and we got to work.
The market was challenging in the fall for a home priced significantly over the average price point in the area, so the sale took a while, but we got it done despite the challenges along the way.
Congrats on your home sale, Susan! We wish you the best of luck in your new home.

This house was one of the most fascinating listings we've ever sold. It came with some rare challenges that required pre-planning, additional research, above-and-beyond strategy, and solid disclosures for the protection of all parties. Once on the market, the home was a hot commodity. We had many buyers reaching out to us about it and several solid showings.
We had 5 offers, but not in the usual "competing offer" sense. 4 offers that weren't the right fit for the seller were submitted over the course of 3 weeks. She knew what she was looking for in her offer terms and she had the liberty to wait for the right offer. After 22 days on market, offer #5 was the winner and the seller was so happy with the outcome.
Congratulations, Barb, on the sale of your lovely home!
