There’s been a sighting on Moose!! Spotted late last night on security footage nearby, and he is still wearing his cone. We’re calling all the business yet again to try and track him down, but please keep an eye out. We also got another photo of him from the owner, to help better show his size and what he looks like.

Kitten season is in full bloom! Last week, we had 4 feral cats unexpectedly and suddenly give birth at our clinic. They had all come in to be spayed, and unfortunately they came to us too late. While we know kittens are cute, there are SO MANY cats in this world without homes. So many kittens being euthanized in shelters across our nation every day. Countless shelters and rescues begging for foster homes to deal with the influx of cats that need their help each spring/summer.

Thankfully our sister organization, Shelter From The Storm Animal Rescue was able to step in and find temporary placement for the 4 litters born, and the feral moms will be spayed and returned to their owners in about 2 months. Given they brought in over 40 cats last week from one single local hoarding case, these additional moms and kittens put a huge strain on their already limited resources.

Moral of the story, please please PLEASE spay and neuter your pets. Please TNR outdoor cats on your property. And if you're able, please consider donating to our Lifeline Veterinary Care Program to help us provide funds for those who need but are unable to afford spay/neuter procedures for their pets. We can all do our part to help!
