Undergraduates: If you plan to make creative, intensive use of library resources to complete a yearlong research project in the 2026-27 academic year, now's the time to apply for an Undergraduate Research Award!

The UW-Madison Libraries are offering an Undergraduate Research Award ($2,000) to support and celebrate excellence in undergraduate, library-based research. Research projects can include:

📒 A capstone
📖 Independent study
📄 A thesis
🎭 A performance
🖼️ An exhibit

The selected student will receive the award funds upon completion of the award requirements, which include structured library support and a final presentation to library staff. Note: This award is subject to taxes.
