UW-Madison is currently navigating a broken chilled water line that has had a significant impact on air conditioning across campus. This has led to the closure of multiple buildings, including Grainger Hall, while the issue is fixed. Campus has estimated that this process could take up to a month to complete.

If you are currently signed up for an in-person consulting appointment, please reach out to your consultant for alternate options. If you are registered for an upcoming in-person summer course, we will be in touch closer to the class start date about an alternate location. Launch Wisconsin is now accepting entries through June 15, 2026. Formerly known as the Governor’s Business Plan Contest, this free competition helps connect startup-stage entrepreneurs with mentors, expert feedback, entrepreneurial resources, and potential funding opportunities.

Participants receive feedback from experienced judges throughout the competition, and finalists will compete for a share of more than $150,000 in cash and in-kind prizes.

Produced by the Wisconsin Technology Council and a growing network of partners, and led by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC), the contest seeks to support innovation and entrepreneurship across Wisconsin.
