We’re absolutely cheesing over our very own Dana Lytle getting inducted into the Wisconsin Advertising Hall of Fame. Huge props (both figuratively and from the Planet basement) on such a massive career achievement!

Copywriter-turned-Creative Director Brian Hucek has 10 years at Planet on the books, so we asked him a series of questions about his time at our shop.

Q: Funniest moment at Planet?

A: Maaaany years ago an art director split for the night and left a not-quite-ripe banana on his desk. That’s when I found a banana decomposing in my backpack. I switched the bananas. The look of abject horror/confusion that came from the AD the next morning upon making the grim discovery was PERFECT.

Katie Kaiser is great at managing projects. She’s even greater at being a positive presence and Planet cheerleader. Her optimism quickly made her a popular Planeteer, but is also a boon in her project manager capacity. Even when she’s pinging you for a progress update, you’re still glad to hear from her.

Katie’s been managing projects and clients at Chicagoland ad agencies her whole career, with stints working on substantial brands like Sears, Discover Financial Services, and Pfizer Animal Health. One of her favorite pastimes is playing Pokémon GO, which is fitting, since we’d imagine training Pokémons resembles her project-wrangling day job duties, too.

It's Dagny!

Despite taking on office manager duties at a time when the concept of an “office” is a bit ambiguous, Dagny Skindrud has absolutely crushed the gig. She’s embraced the amorphous nature of the pandemic-era workspace, finding clever ways to keep Planeteers connected and informed whether they’re working in the office, or from a thousand miles away.

Dagny hails from Mt. Horeb, and continues to reside in the “troll capital of the world.” She’s a former project manager at Lands’ End Business Outfitters, but most recently managed a veterinary clinic, where she herded actual cats in preparation for herding Planet’s metaphorical ones.
