In a world that can shift overnight, faith and purpose donβt stand still; they adapt. π
One of the places InterVarsity Link serves is in Israel, where long-term staff have had to navigate sudden changes due to current events. Their lives and ministry have pivoted in unexpected ways, yet their mission continues. Meeting students, building relationships, and trusting that God is still at work in every moment.
Even in uncertainty, there is movement. Even in disruption, there is hope. π€
Stay tuned for our next post, where weβll share how you can be praying for these staff members.

Meet Link Volunteer - Jeannie Musick ππΌββοΈ
You will rarely find such a dedicated woman in ministry as Jeannie. Read about her work in Rwanda below!

"As I considered whether to retire upon reaching age 70 I felt sad about no longer serving students or investing the skills I had developed in 35+ years of student ministry.
Leading global programs and connecting with our IFES brothers and sisters had been one of my favorite parts of staff life so I was delighted when I was invited to serve as a LINK volunteer after retirement.
Attached: photo of Jeannie with Samson Rukundo (General Secretary of GBUR)
I had previously met Samson Rukundo (General Secretary of GBUR in Rwanda) and we began to pray over zoom.
Out of our prayer times came an invitation for me to lead manuscript Bible Study training in Rwanda. It was a huge joy to go to Rwanda this past summer to lead 2 weekends of manuscript Bible Study training for about 25 staff, volunteers and key student leaders each weekend.
The Lord met us wonderfully; the Scriptures came to life; participants engaged wholeheartedly and appreciated this method of Bible Study.
* At least 3 campuses have begun using this method in their small groups *
I have also been able to connect GBUR with the Southeast region which is now planning to partner with GBUR in a Global Program this summer.
Please pray that this upcoming GP will result in growth for American students and staff as well as serve and bless our Rwandese brothers and sisters.
We can learn a lot from the strong student leaders in GBUR and from the way that Rwandan Christians have contributed to help the whole nation pursue reconciliation and healing after genocide."
