Wisconsin used to be a national leader on good governance and anti-corruption -- unfortunately, with yesterday's ruling from the U.S. Supreme Court, we're now a very different kind of model. Some of our lax laws on political spending and coordination are now the national standard.

This Supreme Court has become unaccountable and unprincipled. Past Presidents have reined it in by threatening expansion, most notably FDR -- we must consider this, along with narrowing the court's purview, term limits, and other reforms. And in the long run, we must move towards fully publicly funded, fair elections.

During the past week or so, Voces de la Frontera and others report a clear increase in ICE activity in the Milwaukee area. They may be less visible than during Operation Metro Surge, when thousands of agents descended on the Twin Cities, but they are still doing incredible harm.
