I have the same-ish spiel every year around this time, but here we go - this is a tad different:

Shopping small and supporting small businesses is a very generic statement, sure. But, please know that you are directly impacting your local community when you do so. There are dozens of holiday markets with local makers, perfect for holiday shopping this year.

This is the time of year that your local makers rely on and bank on. I'm not asking for anyone to boycott Amazon, but one tiny purchase from a local maker can really make a difference.

With all of that being said, my last big two holiday markets are:

Dec 5-7: .glarus Christkindli Market 🎄
Dec 12-14: Paoli 🎁

Both near and dear markets as a former Sugar River Raider ⚽ and a Belleville lad. 🫶
