In the 1950s, they were blamed for corrupting kids and the backlash came from everywhere.

Parents, politicians, and even the U.S. government got involved. And it all come to a head when Frederick Wortham released his explosive book: Seduction of the Innocent.

This would lead to the Comics Code Authority and change comic history.
