🐓IT'S FARMSTAND SEASON!🐣
I simply cannot pass them up! A favorite part of driving through our district is stopping to buy from local farmers and families. This is the Karow Family Farmstand, just east of the Twin Lakes Country Club on Legion Drive. The eggs were fantastic!

This week is National Police Week, where we come together and recognize the brave men and women in law enforcement who put themselves on the line every day to keep our communities safe.

This legislative session, I was proud to work alongside local law enforcement to pass the K9 Riggs Act, increasing felony penalties for those who injure or kill police animals in the line of duty.

I also worked closely with the Kenosha Police Department on legislation to strengthen Wisconsin’s anti-grooming laws, establishing some of the toughest protections in the country to keep children safe and hold predators accountable.

Thank you to the officers serving the 32nd Assembly District and communities across Wisconsin for your service, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to public safety.

‼️WE HAVE A DEAL‼️
After months of negotiations, this plan delivers relief in four major ways:
✅ Direct Surplus Payments
✅ Property Tax Relief
✅ Income Tax Relief for Workers
✅ Historic Investment in Special Education

Today, Republicans and Governor Evers reached an agreement on Surplus Payments and Property Tax Relief that returns $1.8 billion of Wisconsin’s budget surplus directly back to taxpayers across our state.

This surplus exists because Republicans held the line on spending during last year’s bipartisan budget negotiations, allowing Wisconsin to remain fiscally responsible while still investing in priorities that matter.

MAY THE FOURTH BE WITH YOU

Unfortunately, the liberals on the State Supreme Court have effectively given Emperor Evers unlimited power—which he used to raise your property taxes for the next 400 YEARS.

When Republicans pushed to repeal this 400-year property tax increase, Democrats said no.

But on November 3rd, there is a new hope. If my constitutional amendment is passed, we can make sure that no governor can ever use his/her veto pen to raise taxes on Wisconsinites ever again.

Girl, 14, accused of stabbing teacher with pencil at Milwaukee school 05/01/2026

Earlier this week, a 14-year-old student stabbed her teacher with a pencil at a Milwaukee school. Thankfully, the teacher wasn’t seriously injured—but it highlights a growing issue: worsening student behavior.

When I talk to teachers, this is one of the top concerns I hear. And the data backs it up—35% of educators nationwide say behavior is “a lot worse” than last year.

That’s why I supported the Teachers Bill of Rights—a commonsense reform to give educators the authority to manage their classrooms and do what they do best: teach.

The bill would’ve allowed teachers to remove disruptive students, enforce expectations, and keep parents informed. Instead, Democrats voted against it—and the "Education Governor" vetoed it.

If we want to curb teacher burnout, improve retention, and ensure students can learn in a safe environment, we need to start by empowering teachers—not tying their hands. Giving educators the authority to manage their own classrooms isn’t controversial—it’s common sense.
