It was wonderful to celebrate this milestone at the Books & Brews Birthday Bash: Chapter 15 with the Friends of the Fitchburg Library and so many community members who believe in the power of libraries.

For 15 years, the Fitchburg Public Library has been a place where curiosity is sparked, lifelong learning is encouraged, and neighbors come together. Events like this remind us that libraries are so much more than books—they’re vibrant community spaces that connect people of all ages.

A special thank you to the Friends of the Fitchburg Library, the local breweries, businesses, volunteers, and everyone who helped make this evening a success. Every dollar raised helped support the renovation of the Children’s Library, creating an even more welcoming and inspiring space for the next generation of readers.

Congratulations on 15 incredible years, and here’s to many more chapters of learning, connection, and community! 📖❤️

In celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, Stoughton residents and visitors are invited to sign a commemorative copy of the Declaration of Independence at one of five locations throughout the community now through July 10.

This unique initiative brings history to life by allowing citizens of all ages to add their names to our nation’s founding document and become part of a lasting local legacy.

Visit the Stoughton Public Library, Innovation Center Stoughton, Stoughton Senior Center, American Legion Post 59, or VFW Post 328 during regular business hours to participate.
