The Medford High School Softball Team is scheduled to face Pewaukee in the Division 2 Semifinals of the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association's State Softball Tournament this afternoon in Madison. This morning, the Athens Softball Team will take on Belmont in the Division 5 Semifinals of the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association's State Softball Tournament. This is the program's first-ever appearance at state. I wish them the very best in today's game. Go Bluejays!

This morning, I had the opportunity to speak at the American Seed Trade Association's Leadership Summit in Milwaukee. I discussed how their members could be effective advocates for their industry in the legislative process. I then participated in a panel with Senator Howard Marklein and Grace Howe from the Wisconsin Agri-Business Association.

Over the weekend, two teams from the 69th District punched their tickets to the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) State Softball Tournament in Madison. Congratulations to the Athens and Medford softball teams on this incredible achievement!

On this day 82 years ago, Operation Overlord began with the invasion of Normandy. This day, now more commonly known as D-Day, marked a critical turning point in World War II. Today, we remember the brave soldiers who landed behind enemy lines and stormed the beaches to begin the liberation of Europe from N**i oppression. May we never forget their courage, sacrifice, and commitment to freedom.
