The Clinical Simulation Program is thrilled to be hiring new team members! With our organizational growth, we are thrilled that we are able to expand our team to help with this exciting new chapter in healthcare.

The new positions that we have open are:

Simulation Specialist: The technical mastermind! Provide expert support, maintenance, and operation (software & hardware) of our advanced computerized manikins and multimedia peripherals. You'll be the one setting the stage for impactful learning.

Simulation Educator: The curriculum architect! Partner with clinical departments to develop goals, learning objectives, case scenarios, and assessment tools. Lead planning meetings to ensure best-practice, high-fidelity simulation experiences.

The CSP is so thankful to partner with Dr. Bevil. She is the very definition of remarkable care. 🏆🎉🩷

Dr. Kristin Bevil is dedicated to ensuring every patient receives exceptional care, especially in pain management during and after surgery. As a specialist in regional anesthesiology, she understands the profound impact of pain relief on a patient’s overall well-being. “Whether it’s pain from an injury, surgery, or a chronic condition, helping patients manage their pain is crucial to their recovery,” she explains. Her work in pain management extends beyond patient care, influencing how medical teams
approach treatment during and after surgery.

In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Bevil plays a vital role in training the next generation of doctors. As Director of Simulation with the Department of Anesthesiology, she designs training scenarios that prepare doctors and nurses for critical moments in the operating room, directly improving patient outcomes and ensuring medical teams are ready for any situation.

In recognition of her dedication to advancing medical education and improving patient outcomes, Dr. Bevil was awarded a 2024 Physician Excellence Award.
