Happy Juneteenth! Today, let us celebrate the diversity of our country - her people, her cultures, her landscapes. Let us not go backwards but forward in equality for all always. Have a great weekend!

Members of the Fifth Street Community Garden attended the American Community Gardening Association National Conference last week in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Our team had the incredible opportunity to meet and hear amazing stories from other community gardens around the nation. What these gardeners are doing to educate, change legislation, unite communities, and feed the hungry were immensely inspiring.

Our gardeners came home with new ideas and an increased enthusiasm to make a better world, starting right here in Morgan County!

If you’ve been in the garden lately, you might have noticed our new Daily Bread Bed. This bed is dedicated to anyone in our community who needs a little extra food on the table. The rules are simple: take what you need, share what you can. Stop by and check it out. Let’s grow a stronger community.
